Albert Harold Tucker - 84, Vimy Court Nursing Home, Bible Hill, passed
away peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the home. Born March 4,
1927, in Sussex, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Albert and
Florence (Gordon) Tucker and brother to Ronald “Ronnie”,
Walter and Murray.
Albert was affiliated with Salvation Army, Truro Corps and had worked as a taxi driver and at Farmer’s Cheese Factory. Albert is survived by his daughter, Peggy Jordan, Truro Heights; son, Roger Tucker, Truro Heights; many nieces and nephews, friends and his family at Vimy Court. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Emmie Seidel (January 2011).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2012, and where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012, Captain Stephen McNeilly officiating. Spring interment in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. If so desired, donations in Albert’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice are welcomed.
