Lillian Dorcus Blois, 89, Truro, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Bible Hill, Lillian was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Underwood) Dwyer.
She is survived by sister Viola Timmons, resident of Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro; nine nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by by her husband Gordon; sisters Mrs. Myrtle MacQuarrie (Peter), Mrs. Hazel Harb (Casam), Mrs. Margarite Clattenburg (Clifford) and Jean Dwyer; brothers John, Robert, Lloyd and Ernest.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday evening January 24th from 7-9 pm and where funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 25th, at 2 pm, all in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Watson Cemetery, Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation Fund.
