Roode, Raymond Layton – 53, of Truro passed away August 16, 2015 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Donald Murray and Elizabeth "Betty" Rose Roode.

Raymond is survived by girlfriend, Brenda Chapman; brothers, Richard; Roger; Joe (Wendy); Leo (Wendy); Peter (Kelly); sisters, Carol (Fred); Maxine (Kenny); Jackie (Pete); Linda; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Brenda and Debbie. The family wishes to extend special thanks to nephew Kenny.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Interment will be at a later date. If so desired, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
