Dickie, Peter Edwin, 80, Lower Onslow, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015, in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Onslow, he was a son of the late Walter and Hilda (Richards) Dickie. Peter and his wife Anna established Glooscap Holstein Farms, Lower Onslow in 1966, and where he was a Holstein Dairy Farmer for many years. Peter loved to show cattle. He was a life member of the Truro Club, Truro.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna (Whidden) Dickie; sons, Tony (Gail) of East Mountain; David (Karen) of Masstown; grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Jacob, Thomas; great-grandson, Ethan; brother, Vaughn Dickie (Brenda), Onslow; sister, Estelle Rector, Truro.

He was predeceased by brothers, Douglas, Stratton, Carl, Gordon, Keith; sister, Doreen Hunter.

No visitation or flowers by family request. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Lower Onslow Clarke Cemetery, Lower Onslow with Reverend Glenn MacLean officiating.
