Doucet, Gisele Alice; It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a mother, wife, friend, and family member, Gisele Alice Doucet, who passed away late Thursday night, September 17, 2015, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Truro. Born December 1960, she was raised in Saint Mary’s Bay with a strong joie de vivre. After finishing her bachelor of business administration she and her husband Louis moved to Truro to start a business and raise a family of their own. She took compassion, as well as great care, in being a part of the lives of her friends and family. By her loved ones, friends and family alike, she was known to cherish the simple pleasures of life such as reading a book, going out for dinner or practicing yoga; along with a social atmosphere outdoor cottage lifestyle in the summer. She is survived by her three sisters, Jeanne, Carmen, and Aline; her two sons, Luc and Daniel; and her husband, Louis, as well as many extended family members. She will always be loved in our memories and we are the most fortunate to have had her in our lives. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro.
