Lillie Mills – 89, Debert. Our "Lily of the Valley" passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, September 24, 2015, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born April 13, 1926, in Union Valley (Parrsboro), she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Mary (Davis) Bennett.

Lillie was predeceased by her siblings, Rhoda, Fanny, Clarence, Florence, James, Marjorie, Arnold, Beatrice. She was married to Isaac Johnson McCully, who predeceased her, and is survived by their children, Lawrence McCully, Diane Robinson, Gail Robinson, Glenn McCully and Susan Legere. She remarried and is survived by her current husband, Ronald Hartwell Mills. Lillie’s legacy will continue through her ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and great great-grandson, Cameron David Putnam.

Lillie’s family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015, in Masstown United Church, 10871 Highway 2, Masstown, followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Reverend Carol Gillard officiating. Interment in Masstown Cemetery. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations in Lillie’s memory to Canadian Red Cross or Canadian Diabetes Association are welcomed.
