Hudson, Gordon Boyd "Pa", 70, Kemptown Nova Scotia, passed away on Thursday September 24th 2015 at home.. Pa was born in Nictaux, Middleton, on December 13th, 1944, and was a son of the late Boyd and Hazel (Dorey) Hudson. In his younger days, Gordon had many adventurous careers. He took pride, that he could out pick his fellow apple pickers, entertain the crowd’s dirt track racing, and get into mischief with his father, while working at the garage. Gordon expanded his "jack of all trades" resume with employment at Municipal Spraying, Crossley Carpet Mills and lastly Ralston Purina Feed Mill. He was most ambitious and endeavored building his hobby farm throughout the years.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pearl Hudson "Love Ya"; Siblings, Bobby (Vera), Verna (David), Gini (Gary), Jane (Doug); Children, Randy (Mona), Bruce (Tonya), Jeff (Hellen), Kelly, Gordie Jr (Jaimie), Ronald; Grandchildren, Stephanie, Mitchel, Eric, Zoe, Hunter, Katie, Justin, Andre, Andrew, and Sarah; Great grandchild , Levi; many nieces and nephews, numerous friends, and many who were considered "adopted " family members.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Ronnie and Larry; Sister, Elaine Mary

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A celebration of Life will be held in the Kemptown Hall, Kemptown on October 4th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to a charity of choice. With his soft words and sometimes, not so gentle teasing, we all felt his love. He will forever be missed and always remembered.
