Dwight Loring Vidito – 69, North River,
passed away peacefully, with his daughter at his side, on Sunday
evening, April 3, 2016, at Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in Middleton,
he was a son of the late Howard and Dorothy (Sabean)
Vidito.
Dwight was a dedicated employee of Hub Well Drilling for 41
years and worked in different capacities during his time
there.
Dwight is survived by his son, Dwayne Vidito, Truro;
daughter, Dorothy (Bill) Atkinson, Truro Heights; grandchildren,
Jeffrey Atkinson, East Mountain; Suzanne Atkinson, Truro Heights;
sisters, Rosalie Tansey, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario; Sandra
Cruickshank, Trenton, Ontario; brothers, Fred (Marilyn) Vidito,
Trenton, Ontario; Douglas (Leanne) Vidito, Oshawa, Ontario;
sister-in-law, Betty Vidito; goddaughter, Adrienne (John) MacKay,
Upper North River; many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he
was predeceased by his wife, Mary Edith "Edie" (Leslie)
Vidito; brother, David; brothers-in-law, Don Cruickshank, John Tansey,
Bill Taylor.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service that will be
held 3 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Blackmore Memorial Cemetery,
just past 2971 Highway 311 and on the left, Upper North River. If so
desired, donations in Dwight’s memory to SPCA or Colchester
Food Bank are welcomed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall
– Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private
