Dwight Loring Vidito – 69, North River, passed away peacefully, with his daughter at his side, on Sunday evening, April 3, 2016, at Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Howard and Dorothy (Sabean) Vidito.

Dwight was a dedicated employee of Hub Well Drilling for 41 years and worked in different capacities during his time there.

Dwight is survived by his son, Dwayne Vidito, Truro; daughter, Dorothy (Bill) Atkinson, Truro Heights; grandchildren, Jeffrey Atkinson, East Mountain; Suzanne Atkinson, Truro Heights; sisters, Rosalie Tansey, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario; Sandra Cruickshank, Trenton, Ontario; brothers, Fred (Marilyn) Vidito, Trenton, Ontario; Douglas (Leanne) Vidito, Oshawa, Ontario; sister-in-law, Betty Vidito; goddaughter, Adrienne (John) MacKay, Upper North River; many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Edith "Edie" (Leslie) Vidito; brother, David; brothers-in-law, Don Cruickshank, John Tansey, Bill Taylor.

All are welcome to attend a graveside service that will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Blackmore Memorial Cemetery, just past 2971 Highway 311 and on the left, Upper North River.
