Reverend
Michael John Aud – 67, Truro. It is with great
sadness that the family announces the passing of Reverend Michael John
Aud, beloved husband of Margie (Spencer) Aud, on Monday, April 18,
2016, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in 1948 in
Harcourt, New Brunswick, he was the cherished son of June Frances
(Church) Aud, Moncton, New Brunswick, and the late Donald Ernest
Aud.
Michael’s chief joy in life was being with
his wife and family. Together, they enjoyed many camping trips in New
England, Florida vacations, a 40th wedding
anniversary in Picton, Ontario, and many other happy journeys along
the way. Michael always had a story or a joke to share. He was also an
avid Montreal Canadiens fan and loved to play and watch golf. Just two
weeks ago, in honour of the Master’s tournament, he
purchased a new TV so he could be part of the
action.
His ministry
years led him to serve eight different congregations as Pastor,
including: Baccaro, Nova Scotia; Campbellton, New Brunswick; Bethany,
Saint John, New Brunswick; Faith Tabernacle, Halifax, Nova Scotia;
Kingston Gospel Temple, Kingston, Ontario; Flemington Park, Toronto,
Ontario; Greenfield Park Pentecostal Church, Quebec; Calvary
Pentecostal Church, Truro, Nova Scotia. He also served with excellence
on district executives in the Maritimes and Eastern Ontario
districts.
His legacy
lives on through his children, Joyce (Greg), Philip (Marisa), Stephen
(Jessica); grandchildren, Lucas, Abby, Gabriel, Soleil, Shiloh,
Spencer, Anna, Thomas. He will be missed by his sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Carol and Don Boyd, aunts, uncles, cousins and many
close friends he made along the way.
Funeral
service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016, in Calvary
