Robinson, Marion Gertrude. 88, East Village, Colchester County. It is with fragile hearts that we Marion’s family; announce her passing on Friday, May 6, 2016, with her family by her side, at the Debert Court, Debert. Marion was born in Parrsboro, NS and was a daughter of the late Major and Lena (Alexander) Spencer.  Marion was a lifelong resident of East Village where she enjoyed the farm her and her husband Aubrey worked side by side.

She is survived by her son Lester (Mildred) of Masstown; daughters Ethel Turner (Gerry) of Great Village, Elsie Robinson-DeBay (Kirk) of East Village; grandchildren Gerika at home, Anastasia of Debert, Kirk and Mark both of Alberta; sister June Dembenski; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Clayton Robinson; brothers Claude and Clayton; sister Rhonda.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro from where visitation will take place from 1:00 pm followed by funeral service at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 10th. Reverend Carolyn Rushton will officiate with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the Animal Rescue Coalitions.
