Graham, Clifford Kent "Cliff", 89, Great Village, passed away Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born and raised in Debert, he was a son of the late Alfred and Stella (Barry) Graham. Clifford spent much of his adult life working in construction

as a heavy equipment operator. He worked for Reiner’s Construction, Chappell’s Construction and Wilson Equipment before buying and operating Graham’s Riverside Esso and his own construction company. Since his retirement, Cliff has spent a great many hours in his workshop. He built and sold one sawmill, and has been enjoying working on the second. Always a family man, Cliff has enjoyed having time to spend with his children, grand-children and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ruth Fraser; sons Percy (Joy), Great Village, Stephen (Deanna), Little Dyke; daughter Elizabeth (Betty) MacNeil, Great Village; step-children, Michael, Valerie, Penny and Victoria, all of Ontario; 8 grandchildren; 12great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister Jeanne (David) Large, Port Joli.

Besides his parents, Clifford was predeceased by his first wife Alfreda Spencer; younger brothers Vaughan, Claire and Clarence.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 7th at 2:00 pm in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village, with Reverend Dan Gunn officiating. In the event of rain, the service will take place in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 72 Great Village. A reception will follow at the Legion. If so desired, donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 Great Village, or to a charity of choice.
