Lynds, Barbara Ann, 83, Debert, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Minnie (Higgins) Lynds. Barbara was a Legal Secretary Administrator for the Provincial Government and also for the Judicial System. Barbara had a great love for cats and gardening. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by family members in both Canada and the United States.
No visitation by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, from where funeral service will take place on Friday, Oct. 14th at 2 pm. Reverend David MacLean will officiate with burial to follow in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the SPCA, Truro.
