Clements, Wayne Arthur "Clem", Bible Hill,
passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants
Health Centre, Truro, after a lengthy illness. Born in Middleton Kings
Co., he was an adopted son of the late Isaac and Minnie (Gibson)
Clements. Wayne had numerous jobs during his life and retired from
Fosco Roofing. He was an avid sportsman and was a life member of the
Horsemen Club, Truro. Clem always loved a good
challenge.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Darlene
Susan (Steadman) Clements; brother Rawleigh Clements of
Winnipeg.
He was predeceased by his brothers Isaac, Roy, Eugene, Lorne,
Andrew; sisters Dorothy, Edna, Gertrude.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall~Varner Funeral
Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation or funeral service by
family request. Donations in Clem’s memory may be made to
the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the
SPCA.
A special thanks to Dr. Robert Graham, Lisa and Dr. Henderson
of the Palliative Care Team, and all other professionals for your kind
and care given to Wayne. Also to Pat Scammell and Joyce Hamilton for
their kindness and spending time with Wayne, his special friend Eve
