A. Gordon "Laurie" Currie (RCMP Regimental # M10645 / Ironworkers Local 378 Oakland) – Truro, formerly of Florida and Australia, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017. Born in Economy, he was a son of the late Alton and Sylvia (Morrison) Currie.

Gordon is survived by his long-time partner, Angela Younger; sisters, Juanita Elliott, Viola Olsen; many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Honouring Gordon’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
