Brook. With broken hearts we announce the sudden death of Susan Avis
Cameron, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday morning, February
5, 2017, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Family was most important to Susan and she enjoyed cottage
time with her sisters. She was employed for over 30 years with Canada
Post, was a member of Black Powder Shooter Club and ATV Club and
enjoyed reading, quilting and puzzles.
Susan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lee; daughters,
Tamara (John) Linkletter, LeeAnne (David) Lewis; grandkids, Kelsie
(Brandon), Jamee, Cameron (Chantelle); great grandson, Emmett William;
sisters, Margie, Libi (Wayne); brother, Charles (Kim); brother-in-law,
Ross (Judi); many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
parents, Eddy and Charlotte (Perrin) Faulkner; parents-in-law, Billy
and Ida Cameron; brother, John; brother-in-law, Barry. Special thanks
are extended to members of Economy Fire Department who acted as first
responders and also to Reverend Florence Antle-Brison for her care,
friendship and love.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where the funeral service
will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, Reverend Florence
Antle-Brison officiating. No flowers by request. In lieu, donations in
Susan’s memory to IWK Health Centre Foundation or Economy
