Elizabeth "Bette" (Walsh)
Isnor - 87, Truro, passed away,
with family by her side, on Friday, February 17, 2017, at The Mira
Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the
late Harold and Susan (Henderson) Walsh.
Bette always had a love for God, had great faith in the Bible
and for most of her adult life was a member of the local congregation
of Jehovah's Witnesses in Truro. She loved to dance and enjoyed music,
even learning to play the guitar later in life. Anyone who knew Bette,
learned very quickly, the loyal loves of her life were her beloved
cat, Molly and dog, Rosie.
Bette is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Blaine) Schraeder,
Kelowna, British Columbia; son, Paul (Sherry) Isnor, Halifax;
brothers, Doug Walsh, Nova Scotia; Donald (Colleen) Walsh, Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan; sister, Diane, British Columbia; six grandchildren;
eight great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband, Gerald Ivan "Jake"; sisters, Helen
Tripp, Patsy Scambri; brother, Harold Walsh. Special thanks are
extended to the caring staff of "A Unit" at The Mira for
giving Mom such kind and wonderful care these past few
years.
Honoring her wishes, a private family interment has taken
place beside her husband Jake in Middle Stewiacke Cemetery.
