O’Riley, Donald Wilfred, 81, Lower Onslow, passed
away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Debert Court, Debert. Born in Mattawa,
Ontario, he was a son of the late Brant and Sybil (Kenney)
O’Riley. Don served in the Military for 33 years and in
Public Service for 9 years and retired to Nova Scotia. Don was a very
caring person to all that knew him. He loved sports, fishing, hunting
and his .05 beer.
Loving husband of 58 years to Violet (nee MacIsaac)
O’Riley; devoted father to son James of Medicine Hatt,
Alberta; daughter Sandra Walker of White Court, Alberta;
grandchildren, Shiloh, Kathalenna; great-grandchildren, Trayce,
Shaelyne, Payton, Kayze, Jayda; brothers David (Margaret) of Halifax;
sister Wendy O’Riley of Dutton, Ontario.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert,
John, Stuart, Brian; sisters, Eleanor, Audrey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home 55 Young Street Truro. No visitation by family
request. A family funeral service will take place at a later
date.
