Dorothy Mae (Foley) McCann - 84, Truro, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, after a long battle with dementia.

She was predeceased by her husband, John, and leaves heartbroken her daughter, Michelle. She will be missed by her sister, Isabelle Mills (Mississauga, Ontario) and her extended family.

Her daughter would like to express a special thank you to the staff and volunteers on Garden Road for caring for Dorothy for the past six years, and their kindness in her final days.

Private interment will be held in St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery, Donkin, Cape Breton. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
