Mi Ha Ma – 68, Truro, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Hong Kong, she was a daughter of the late Hee Ying and Chun Tai (Chun) Cho.

Mi Ha helped out with the family business, Asia Restaurant, Truro, until 1997. She enjoyed listening to music and loved walking; she was a familiar face to many people around Truro.

Mi Ha is survived by her husband, Ying To "Tony" Ma; children, Jane Lau, Markham, Ontario; Kenneth Ma (Donna), Truro; Marryat Ma (Blair), Waterloo, Ontario; grandson, Nathan Lau, Markham, Ontario; two brothers in Vancouver; one brother and three sisters in Hong Kong; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where a private family funeral service will be held. If so desired, donations in Mi Ha’s memory to Colchester East Hants Health Centre or a charity of choice are welcomed.
