James Creelman "Hank"
Wilson – 91, Truro, passed away peacefully, with
his good friend Ginny Moore at his side, on Monday evening, June 26,
2017, at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Bass River, he was a
son of the late Gordon and Daisy (Fielding) Wilson.
James was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. In his younger years, he was a farm labourer in Lower Truro.
He did various odd jobs, including cleaning windows and shoveling
snow, for many people over the years. An all-out friendly guy, there
aren’t enough words to describe who James was and what he
meant to his family and friends. He absolutely loved walking around
town and his infectious smile and personality will be remembered; he
enjoyed talking with anyone he met and having a chat or sharing a
laugh.
James is survived by his brother, Harry, Debert; several
nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his
sisters, Lillian Wilson, Freda (Alfred) Acker; brother, George Wilson.
Thanks are extended to the staff of Townsview Estates and Cedarstone
Enhanced Care where James had been cared for so well over the past
number of years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
