At a young age, Allan went to work in the woods and then got
into putting in foundations in Colby Village in Dartmouth for many
years and then continued foundation work in Truro and surrounding
area. He was a very hard worker and a jokester who loved to make
people laugh. He was a very kind man who would do anything for anyone
and he did it without wanting recognition. He will be missed by his
constant feline companion, Blackie. The family would like to thank Dr.
Bruce Phillips for his care over the years, VON, especially Marie, for
their support, care and compassion and also a thank you to the
Palliative Care team; your support was certainly
appreciated.
