Ralph Earl Crowell – 73, Tatamagouche, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Earl and Valetta (LaPierre) Crowell.

Ralph and his wife, Sharon, owned and operated Crowell’s Excavating in Lawrencetown, Halifax County. Together, they enjoyed their many trips to Florida and going fishing with each other; we hope that maybe now Dad can catch more fish than Mom! He loved to garden and many will remember the wheel barrel rolled out to the end of the driveway, overflowing with cucumbers, zucchini and other fresh produce for anyone to take and use.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Melinda (Larry) Kowalek, Tatamagouche; Sheila Crowell, East Lawrencetown, Halifax County; grandsons, Brandon Stratton and Tyler Stratton; nephew, David (Christine) Hale, Porters Lake; sisters, Glenda (Al), Dominican Republic; Jean (Hollis), Porters Lake; Mitzi (Darrell), Mineville; many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sharon Ann (Mosher).

Special thanks are extended to the doctors and nurses of Intensive Care Unit at Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their wonderful care and concern for our Dad and all the family.

Honouring his wishes, there will not be any visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in Ralph’s memory to Colchester East Hants Health Centre are welcomed.
