Lane, Thomas Walter, 78, Truro, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Walter and Margaret (Ross) Lane. Tom worked for many years for the Town of Truro with the Water Department. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association, 102 Colchester Wing, Truro.

He is survived by his wife Norma (Robinson) Lane; daughters, Tricia Fox (Kevin) of Bible Hill, Darlene Richard (Jeff) of New Glasgow, Althea Lane (Charlie) of Salmon River, Wanda Lane (Robert) of Trenton. ON; grandchildren, Angi, Josh, Andrea, Peter, Holly, Andrew, Nathan, Emma, Aaron; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Jase, Autumn, Jensen, Alexa; sister, Althea Upham (Raymond) of Chicago; extended family, Tanner, Sue, Vicki Lynn-Marie and family.

He was predeceased by a step-son Troy; brother, Clarence.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.  No visitation or funeral service by family request.
