Patricia Gail Conrad – 73, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully, with her loving daughters at her side, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Frances (Bartlett) Tibbitts.

Gail was a member of Truro Horsemen’s Club and enjoyed horse racing and the camaraderie at Truro Raceway. She was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan and had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially cats, and dearly loved Razz and Kit.

Gail is survived by her daughters, Vicky Conrad (Brian McCallum), Onslow Mountain; Sherry Bolger (Jason Willis), Salmon River; grandchildren, Doug Conrad (Jenna), Brandon Bolger, Jacob Bolger, Bible Hill; sister, Judy Prodger, Valley; half-brother, Shawn Hanham, Onslow Mountain; many nieces and nephews. Along with her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Joseph Franklin Conrad; son, Frankie; sister, Diane Tibbitts; half-brothers, Donald Tibbitts, Bob White.

A very special thank you to Marilyn and Allan Burns for your love and care; you were a God send and allowed Mom to stay in her home. As well, we would like to thank the entire staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Colchester East Hants Health Centre.

Gail’s family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Truro Horsemen’s Club, 288 Main Street, Bible Hill. Private interment will be held in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s memory to Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
