McNutt, Debbie Ann; It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Ann McNutt, age 65 of Truro, after a long battle with cancer. She passed away on Sunday, May 19th in the palliative care unit of Colchester East Hants Hospital. Born in Truro to Robert & Jessie Wilson of Stewiacke East, where she grew up on the Holstein Dairy Farm. She belonged to the 4H movement. In 1974 she graduated from N.S.T.C.  Her first job was in Summerville. In 1975 she married Bruce and moved to Truro. She taught for several years at East Stewiacke Elementary and then Alice Street School (Truro). She was an active member of Brunswick Street Church enjoying being responsible for the Sunday School. Debbie loved going to the gym, walks in the good weather, and in the summer entertaining on the deck with friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; daughter, Jennifer; parents, Bob & Jessie Wilson; brothers, Tim (Linda), Brian & Phyllis, sister-in-law, Debbie E, great-aunts; Freda & Mary; several cousins, nieces & nephews, great-nephew, Cooper. With a special thank you from Debbie & family to Dr. Don Rowe. A very special thanks to Karen Crouse for being my friend, family and biggest support. We will be honouring Debbie and keeping her spirit alive this Christmas (her favorite time of the year) with sponsoring families in need.
