Graham, Edgar, 107, of Nictaux and formerly of Scrabble Hill, (Lornevale Road), Great Village, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at home. Born in Great Village, he was a son of the late David and Ethel (Keith) Graham. Edgar was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 72, Great Village. He was a farmer in Great Village for many years retiring at the age of 95.
He is survived by nephews, Wayne Graham (Norma) of Middleton, Cortland Graham of Scrabble Hill; nieces, Linda Wolf (John) of St. George, Ontario, Darlene Graham of Tremont; several great nieces and great nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Earl, Fred; sisters, Sylvia, Mary, Achsah, Margaret, Martha.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Visitation will take place Tuesday, July 30th commencing at 1 pm until the Legion Tribute Service at 1:45 pm and directly followed by funeral service at 2 pm, all in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 72, Great Village. Reverend Donald MacQueen will officiate with burial to follow in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
