Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Lynds – 79, Belmont, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Parkland Estates, Truro, where she had been residing since June 2019. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Eunice (Graham) Pierce.

Betty worked as an Operator with MT&T for many years. She was an active member of Trinity United Church, Upper Onslow, enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader.

Betty is survived by her brother, Elwin Pierce, Ottawa, Ontario; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Foster Leroy Lynds; son, Stephen Lynds; brother, David Pierce.

All are welcome to attend a graveside interment service that will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Reverend Glenn MacLean officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
