Salter, Ralph Lee, 72, Truro, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at home with his partner Don by his side. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Ayles) Salter. Ralph worked for several years as a clerk for the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission in Truro. Ralph was a kind and considerate person with a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to his fullest.
He is survived by his partner Donald "Don" MacDonald.
He was predeceased by a brother Robert.
Visitation will take place on Friday, Feb. 21st from 2-4 pm in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A graveside service will take place on May 21st at 2 pm with Keith Selwyn-Smith DLM officiating at the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA or to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
