Thelma Bernice Lumsden - 82, Salmon River, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Pleasant Harbour, Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Otis W. and Beatrice (Hutt) Clattenburg and step-daughter of the late Carl Nelson.

Thelma is survived by her son, Stephen (Connie) Lumsden, Salmon River; daughter, Shelley Lumsden (Frank), Truro; step-daughter, Sandra (Brian) Norman, Dartmouth; sisters, Carol (David) Johnstone, Salmon River; Debra (Bernard) Acton, Valley; Janice (Doug) McLeod, Greenfield; grandchildren, Jason Lumsden, Mike Roode, Chance (Santana) Roode, Brandon (Tiffany) Roode, Robert Lumsden, Chanda (Chance) Hunter, Melanie Shattuck; great grandchildren, CJ Shattuck, Myles Hunter, Mason Hunter, Memphis Hunter; nephews, David Johnstone, James McLeod, Charles McLeod, Paul McLeod, Matthew Acton. She was also The Nanny for Becky (Bell) Denton and Andrew Denton who she loved like her own children.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Edward Lumsden; brother, Calvin Clattenburg; granddaughter, Jamie Shattuck; great grandson, Adian Roode; niece, Selena Joy Acton.
