Fisher, George Ross, 59, Truro, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his family by his side. Born in Guelph, ON, he was the son of the late Ira and Margaret (Leader) Fisher. George worked for many years at Kohltech Windows and Entrance Systems in Debert.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Darlene (Burnet) Fisher; daughter Tenesha Stillman (Dougie), Hammonds Plains; step-son Lawrence (Amy) Stillman, Amherst; grandchildren, the shining stars of his life, Caleb Stillman (Katilyn) and Evan Rozee; sister Dawn Rhossiter (Glen), Truro; brothers, Eddie (Beverly), Riverside, Timmy (Kathleen), Shortts Lake, Ira, Guelph, ON; several nieces and nephews whom he loved with all of his heart.

He was predeceased by his sister Maryanne McSwain.

No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, Donations in memory may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation or to a charity of choice.
