Martin, Jessa Marie, infant daughter of Faye Paul and Peter Martin, of Millbrook, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 in the IWK Hospital for Sick Children, Halifax.
Besides her parents she is survived by a sister Emma Martin, at home and a brother Dean Johnson, of Millbrook; paternal grandparents Dean and Carol Martin of Millbrook; maternal grandparents Gabriel Paul and Karen Johnson of Eskasoni; Paternal great-grandmother Mrs. Madeline Martin of Millbrook; Maternal great grandparents Howard and Ethel Johnson of Eskasoni; several aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her paternal great-grandfather Fred Martin.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 10 am until 1 pm in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, followed by funeral service Wednesday at 2 pm in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Millbrook with Father Francesco Pirisi officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Donations in Jessa’s memory may be made to the High Risk Pregnancy Unit of the IWK Hospital For Sick Children, Halifax.
