Peter Whidden Dennis - 52, Calgary, passed away suddenly, as a result of heart complications, on Tuesday morning, April 24, 2012, in Calgary.

Peter was a free spirit, loved to make jokes and laugh. He lived in Calgary where he was working in the oil industry. He was dearly loved by his family and will be sorely missed.

Peter is survived by his mother, Joan Johnston, Mattatall Lake; brother, Rodney, Great Village; sister, Susan, Vancouver, British Columbia; daughter, Jessica, Toronto, Ontario; son, Brian, Hamilton, Ontario; step-children, Daniel, Carla, Hamilton, Ontario; nieces and nephews in Ontario. He was predeceased by his father, Edward; brothers, Randy, Eddie.

All are welcome to attend a graveside prayer service that will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Folly Village Cemetery, 983 Highway 2, Glenholme. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
