It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing
of our beloved Gail Marie Wyllie, of Truro. Gail was born in Truro to
the late Max and Betty (Hendsbee) Wyllie on May
31st, 1953. Gail retired in 2002 from Forest
Safety Society of Nova Scotia due to a major stroke. Her recovery was
an inspiration to all who knew and loved her, also her continued zest
for life. Gail was a selfless person always concerned for others. Gail
was a simple, kind, loving and humorous lady. She made a lasting
impression on everyone she met. Gail’s greatest passion was
line dancing which she taught for 25 years.
Gail is survived by her daughter Danielle Geddes of
Lloydminster Saskatchewan; grandson Aaron Campbell (Her main Man)
Truro; special granddaughter Kassy Faulkner of Lloydminster
Saskatchewan; loving sisters Liz (Lawrence) Jobb of Truro and Margie
Clarke (Jeff deceased March 9, 2014) of Ottawa; also many special
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at the
Truro Fire Hall on Monday, July 14th from 6-8
pm. Reception and Line Dancing. All family and friends are welcome.
Donations in Gail’s memory may be made to the Palliative
Care, Truro, or to the Hospice Society of Truro. Private messages of
