Lennerton-MacKenzie, Helen Chloe "Honey", 60, Earltown, NS, passed away suddenly, Friday, August 1, 2014 at home. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Helen (MacAloney) Lennerton, Old Barns, NS,    and the late Philip Lennerton. Honey was a C.C.A having worked for Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, and very much enjoyed her work. She loved music and especially Elvis Presley.

Besides her mother, Honey is survived by her partner Alonzo Hill; son Chris MacKenzie of Kemptown; daughters Angela Hudson (Larry) and Emily MacKenzie, both of Kemptown; grandchildren Emma MacKenzie, Dawson, Shailee and Jacob Hudson, Tyson MacKenzie-Pratt; brothers Paul Lennerton (Anna) of Ontario, Mike Lennerton of Hinton, AB, David Lennerton (Faye) of Old Barns, Bruce Lennerton of Old Barns, Brian Lennerton of Old Barns; sisters Brenda Nolan (Kevin) of New Annan, Karen Crowell (Steven) of East Mountain; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister Judy Nolan; brother Donald Lennerton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street from where visitation will take place on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and where funeral service will take place on Thursday, Aug. 7th at 2 pm. with the Reverend Lori Ramsey officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Christ Anglican Cemetery, Clifton. Donations in memory may be made to Cedarstone Enhanced Care Recreational Dept. or to the heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
