James
Francis "Jim" Lynch - Retired S/Sgt. RCMP. It is with heavy
hearts the family of James Francis Lynch announce
his passing at the age of 65 after a courageous battle against
Multiple Myeloma on September 6, 2014 at the Colchester East Hants
Health Centre, Truro. Born November 1, 1948, in Saint John,
New Brunswick, he was a son of the late Francis and Veronica (Brown)
Lynch.
A
loving and devoted husband, an inspirational Dad, one of a kind
grandfather and loyal friend, he was a man of great strength and
character. He lived his life with a motto of family, faith and health,
leaving us with a final message of "promise me that you will
love, be kind and take care of one another always".
Jim
had an adventurous 35 year career in the RCMP where he was stationed
coast to coast, swung from helicopters, slept in snow caves and was a
respected police dog handler and trainer.
He
leaves behind the love of his life, Bride (Sullivan) Lynch; children,
Jason (Tonya), Stonewall, Manitoba; Jillian (Jim) Bujold, Bedford;
Jennifer Lynch, Bedford; extraordinary grandchildren, Ella, Oliver,
Grace, Luke, Bode, Jack, Lyla and Charlotte; sister, Jo-Ann (Dipi)
Malhotra, Waterloo, Ontario; sister-in-law, Barb Lynch, Winnipeg,
Manitoba. Jim was loved by all the Sullivan family and his many
special nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased
by his brother, Brian; parents-in-law, Edward and Bridget Sullivan.
A
very special thanks to Dr. Robert Graham & Traci, Dr. Darrell
