Whitelaw, Mary Christie – 68, passed away December
13, 2014 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born
August 3, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Margaret
(Christie) Aston.
Mary grew up in Brooklyn, Hants County, where she went to
school and eventually married. She was employed as an office manager
and bookkeeper for different companies and honed many skills.

and many a stray found a new friend in her.
Mary is survived by her only son, Steven Loomer; grandson,
Sean Loomer; brother, Richard (Tim); sister, Leslie (MacLean); and
several nieces and nephews; several grand nephews and
niece.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Cortney Smith and the staff of
CEHHC for their excellent care and compassion.
