Maskell, Thomas Warren "Tommy" 53,
Wentworth, passed away December 19, 2014 at home. Born in Halifax, he
was a son of Carol Joan Lafreniere Maskell. Tommy was a great man with
a zest for living. He was an avid fly fisherman and hunter. Tommy had
a great love for the outdoors and was at his best when he was down
on the Wallace River or in the
woods.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his partner Joanne
Baxter; sister Kelli Lovett (John) of Lake Echo; niece Jillian; nephew
Ellis; aunt Donna Baker and uncle Miltie; Aunt Marie Kennedy; Uncle
Alfred (Louise) Lafreniere; Uncle Leo Lafreniere; uncle Bob (Louise)
Lafreniere and numerous cousins. step-sons Kellan and Jayden; Tommy
had so many friends and he appreciated all of you. You know who you
are. Also his loyal companions Ellie and Chuckey.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Karen (Munroe)
Maskell; brother Colin.
No visitation or funeral service by family request.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home,
55 Young Street, Truro. Burial will take place at a later date. No
flowers or donations by request. Tommy’s wishes would be to
