Tooker, Ralph Ishmael, 71, Upper Brookside, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 12, 2015.  Born in Annapolis Royal he was a son of Fred and Wilma (Smith) Tooker of Upper Brookside. Ralph was a carpenter, mechanic, body man, and former owner of Ralph’s Valley Shell Service Station. He loved to fish and watch the birds. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Rose "Aletha" Allen; sons, Fred, Upper Brookside, and Tim (Trish), Bible Hill; grandchildren, Emily, Kristina, and Katelyn. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, January 15, Rev. Valerie Kingsbury officiating, with reception to follow, all in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro. Interment at a later date in the Crossroads Cemetery Valley. Family flowers only. Donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
