Marie Esthere Chiasson - 72, The Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro, passed peacefully on Wednesday evening, February 25, 2015, at the home, where she had been a resident for the past 13 years. Born September 12, 1942, in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Roach) Roach.

Marie is survived by her children, Karen, Dartmouth; Kenneth "Kenny", New Waterford; Kim (Jeff) Kirby, Mississauga; grandchildren, Emma, Dean, Tyler, Nicole. Funeral service and interment will be held in Cape Breton at a later date.Tyler, Nicole.

Graveside interment service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015, in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Margaree, Father Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Reception will follow in St. Michael’s Parish Hall.
