Benoit, Dominick Charles, 11, of Debert, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the IWK Hospital for Sick Children, Halifax, with his family at his side.  Born in Parry Sound, Ontario, he was a son of Rex and Renee (Therrien) Benoit.

Besides his parents, Dominick is survived by his maternal grand-parents Bill Therrien and Susan Levielle; paternal grand-parents Wade Jesso and Carolina Leone; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Burial will take place at a later date.
