Donald Michael "Wolfman" MacDougall - 84,
Debert, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Debert Court, Debert.
Born in Port Hood, he was a son of the late John and Catherine
(MacDonald) MacDougall. Donald spent 27 years in the Canadian
Armed Forces and after worked for Home Hardware Distribution Centre,
Debert, for 10 years. He loved to go four wheeling and also enjoyed
wrestling. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 106,
Debert.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Weatherby; sons,
Donald (Heather), Oromocto, New Brunswick John, Greenwood; George
(Stacey), Barrie, Ontario; step-sons, Earl Walsh, Truro; Leonard
Walsh, Debert; Peter Walsh, Debert; step-daughters, Myrna Ryan,
Brookfield; Laura Lee Bulmer, Princeport; numerous grandchildren;
several nieces and a nephew.
Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his first wife,
the former Nellie Smith; sisters, Kaye and Florence.
No visitation by family request. Arrangements have been
entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street,
Truro. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 20th at
1:00 pm in the Middle Road Cemetery Debert, with Reverend Carol
Gillard officiating. A reception will follow from 2-4 pm in the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch 106, Debert. Donations in memory may be made to
the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
