Bernard Crowe (Bernie), Truro, died peacefully on April 21,
2015 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre at the wonderful age of

served in the reserve infantry regiment The Nova Scotia Highlanders
(North Novies), 36 Canadian Brigade Group, 5th Canadian Division. They
lived and raised their children in North End and Upper Brookfield,
Nova Scotia. Bernard will be long remembered for his kind, gentle,
honest and generous manner, his smiling face and his wonderfully
playful sense of humour.
He will be sorely missed by his children Colie (Donna), David
(Kim) and Reg (Sherri); his daughters-in-law Belinda and Dolly, and
sons-in-law Rick Watcher and Kevin Earl; his youngest sister Joan and
her husband Vernon Read; brothers-in-law Albert Abraham and Bud
Densmore; many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren, his
great great grandchild, his nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his
sisters Ileen and Betty, his children Karen, James, Michael, and
Diane, his grandchild Michael John, and his daughter-in-law Penny.
During his short time at the Colchester Hospital, Bernard was
comforted by his granddaughter, Dawn, by his side and daily visits
from many family and friends. Heartfelt thanks are extended by the
family to Brenda and Debbie for all the support and kindness they
graciously gave to Bernard over the years and to the entire staff in
the Palliative Care Unit of the Colchester Hospital.
