James
Edward "Jim" Peppard – 71, Bible Hill,
passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, June 25, 2015, at Colchester
East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born February 14, 1944, in Truro, he
was a son of the late George and Margaret (Falkenham) Peppard.
Jim
was a kind, caring and courageous man. For most of his life, he was a
shoe traveler and traveled the Atlantic Provinces, but his favourite
place was always home. In more recent times, Jim enjoyed vacationing
south with Georgina and was looking forward to another trip to Key
West, Florida. He truly enjoyed spending time with "the
boys" at their hunting camp and fishing on his favourite rock at
the cottage with his faithful four legged friend, Casey. Jim was
admired and respected by many, young and old; a devoted family man, he
took great pride in his three grandsons.
Jim
leaves his wife of 51 years, Georgina "Georgie" (Nixon)
Peppard; sons, Thomas, New Glasgow; Kevin, Dartmouth; grandsons,
Alexandre, Joseph and Lucas; brother, Fred (Heather), Carlton,
Yarmouth County. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his
sister, Joyce Simlett.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall
