Mosher, Lola Mae - 87, of Lower Coverdale, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2019, peacefully at George Dumont Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Kemptown, NS, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Myrtle (Perrin) Brown.
Lola was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and she devoted her time to be a spiritual inspiration to everyone that knew her. She spent several years active in the Westmorland Horticulture Society, spending many hours creating beautiful gardens at home, cottage and several other venues. She won several awards with her photography, and was also a member of the Moncton Horse Club. She loved sharing quality time with family while traveling and showing horses throughout the Maritimes. Lola created the home where all neighbourhood kids wanted to visit and felt welcome and loved. She was admired, loved and respected by her children, grandchildren and everyone that was fortunate enough to know her. She was the first one to bake cookies with her grandkids, make way too much food for a family event and dance with her sisters while listening to her family play music.
Real love stories never have endings which was proven by her husband Roy’s true love and devotion, created by 65 years of sharing life together. Lola will be so missed by her husband, Roy who she joined in marriage November 11, 1954 in Toronto; children, Laurie, Chris (Kim) and Karen; grandchildren, Mike; Trevor; Rachel; William; Anthony; James; Josie; Brooke and Whitney; several great grandchildren.
Lola was so very proud to have such a close family connection with her siblings, Olan; Elda; Dorothy; Florence; Ruth; Leo and Ward. She believed in keeping the family connection close and strong.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro where visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, July 15, 2019 and funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Reverend Robert Milburn officiating. Webcasting will commence at 1:55 pm. Interment to follow in Kemptown Anglican Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Lola’s memory can be made to Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick.
