Charlotte E.R. MacVicar – 81, Truro. With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and sister, Charlotte Elizabeth Ross (Bogle, Cooke) MacVicar on Sunday, September 12, 2021.Charlotte was the daughter of the late Alfred Edward and Myrtle Alena (Gamble) Bogle and stepdaughter of the late Cornelius "Con" D. Richard.

Born in Londonderry, she moved to Truro (1958), and was employed with "The Met" Store, Sears Canada Credit Office and Credit Bureau of Truro which she purchased and owned for approximately 45 years, later selling to Equifax Canada and then retiring. She served for several years on the board of Community Credit Union of Cumberland Colchester in many capacities, including Chair of the Board at one time, and remained involved for the rest of her life.

She spent many happy times with all and so very much enjoyed music, playing piano with her mother on violin at church and fiddle concerts, playing the organ in the United church in Londonderry and Great Village Church and at funerals. She loved to dance and did so all her life. She had many, many friends with whom she enjoyed pleasant occasions making memories forever. She will be greatly missed by family and friends that loved her dearly.

She so enjoyed her family and adored her daughter, Marie Faulkner, and grandchildren, Sally Jane Marie Faulkner and Thomas Karl Faulkner; stepson, Andrew MacVicar (Nicole, Trinity), Dartmouth; son-in-law, Andy Faulkner, Brentwood; sister, Edith Bogle, Grosse Pointe, Michigan; brother, Lloyd Bogle, Stewiacke; sister-in-law, Anne Bogle, Prince George, British Columbia; many nieces and nephews.
