Christene Lee Rae – 92, Truro, formerly of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away suddenly on Thursday evening, November 11, 2021, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in South Tatamagouche, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Viola (Bailey) Langille.

Christene retired from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Hamilton, Ontario.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Mingo, Salmon River; Velma "Bim" MacKenzie, New Brunswick; nieces, Joy MacKenzie, Truro; Greg (Lisa) MacKenzie, New Brunswick; Donna Mingo, Halifax; Carla (Kevin) McNutt, Murray Siding. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Irene (Cy) Langille; brothers-in-law, Wyman Mingo, Charlie MacKenzie.

Private interment will be held in The Falls Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Christene’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcomed.
