Carol McPhee – 83, Truro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Clarence "Andy" and Myrna (Staples) Langille.

She leaves behind, to mourn and fondly remember her, her husband, Karl McPhee; daughters, Calie (Bob Carey), Kristie (Dan McNeil), Dr. Jan (Mr. Jody Kidmose); son, Andy (Susan Cole); grandchildren, Samantha and Evan McNeil; sister, Kathryn Langille; brother, Michael Langille (Caren Rath-Langille).

Through the years, Carol was a dietician, president of Truro Play School and of Home and School at Valley Elementary, a leader of Brownies, Pathfinders, and Rangers, and a romance novelist with more than 15 published books. She was also an exceptional wife and mother. She loved us all and we will miss her very much.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, at Valley - Greenfield United Church, 110 Salmon River Road, Valley, Reverend April Hart officiating. Interment in Crossroads Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or your favourite charity would be appreciated.
