Allan Leroy Eagleson – 71, Masstown, passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Dresden, Ontario, he was a son of the late Duncan and Lottie (Gordier) Eagleson.

Allan worked at Waltec (The Old Brass) and then with Navistar International. Allan being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a backyard mechanic, being the proud owner and operator of "Shop Of Al". He loved to socialize, attend Bingo with Mary Ann and enjoyed a good debate or story. He was well liked by many and dependable.

Allan is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Ann (Eagleson); children, Heather (Francis) Martin, Enfield; Charlotte Eagleson, Glace Bay; Shannon Eagleson (Brian Everaert), Wilksport, Ontario; Lindsay Eagleson (Gretchen Black-Demars), Cole Harbour; grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Brennan, Jenna, Caitlyn, Devin, Franklin; great grandchildren, Kylie, Nevaeh, Hunter; siblings, Jean (Jim) French, Prescott, Ontario; Bill (Louanne) Eagleson, Beecher, Ontario; Betty (Don) Waldie, Edmonton, Alberta; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Cathy (Bill) Ross, Jim Eagleson.

A celebration of Allan’s life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in his memory to The Salvation Army are welcomed.
