Anne Louise Roberts – 62, Debert, passed away
peacefully on Saturday morning, December 3, 2022, at Colchester East
Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the
late Cecil and Helen (Dalby) Fulton.
Anne worked as a cook at Double C Restaurant in Glenholme
until ill health forced her to stop working. She loved cats, reading,
shopping at New To You and jigsaw puzzles. A gentle soul, she found
great comfort and joy in flower gardening inside and outside, sewing
and crocheting; many dresses, doilies, Christmas ornaments and
blankets were made with love and shared with family and
friends.
Anne is survived by her husband, Ross; daughter, Claudia
Roberts, Truro; sister, Patricia (Frank) Roberts, Highland Village;
brothers, Gregory Fulton, Leslie Fulton, Debert; several nieces,
nephews and cousins; grand dogs, Norman and Dougie.
Anne’s family wish to express their heartfelt
thanks to the entire staff of Palliative Care Unit for your
exceptional care and to the VON for their care that allowed Anne to
stay in her own home for as long as possible.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Anne’s
family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Interment will be held 10 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2022, at Middle
Road Cemetery, Middle Road, Debert. All are welcome to attend. If so
desired, donations in Anne’s memory to Carma Cat Rescue
Maritimes – Colchester Chapter or Colchester SPCA are
