Andrea Fay Moir – 75, Truro, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home following a period of ill health. Born in Hillingdon, England, she was a daughter of the late Eric and Ivy (Rendell) Carpenter.

Andrea immigrated to Canada in 1967. She knit numerous dolls and bears for charity.

Andrea is survived by her sister, Carole Wellings, Truro; brother, Richard Carpenter, Belnan; stepsons, George (Donna) Moir, Fall River; Rick (Eileen) Moir, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George.

Spring interment will be held in Onslow Island Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Andrea’s memory to Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
